Is this the right fit?
Consider it if...
Put Qrevo 2 Pro on your shortlist when carpeted rooms and mop-safe hard floors share the same cleaning schedule. Its advertised automatic mop detachment is a specific reason to compare it with a robot that only lifts its mops.
Look elsewhere if...
You may not need this feature if nearly every room is hard flooring, you are happy to remove mops yourself, or your present robot already handles the same routine. A larger docked system also makes little sense if you cannot give it a stable, accessible position.

Map the vacuum-only part of the job
Roborock lists automatic mop detachment, a dual anti-tangle system and an upgraded multifunctional dock for Qrevo 2 Pro. Think about the order in which your rooms should be cleaned. Leaving damp mop pads behind can be relevant to a vacuum-only carpet routine, but you still need to check the supported settings and your rug's restrictions in the manual.
Detachment is not universal carpet compatibility
A shag rug, loose tassels and an unusually high edge present different problems. Measure the transition, note the pile and decide where the robot should be excluded. Test a short route during the return period before scheduling a whole-home run. A feature meant to separate wet and dry cleaning does not guarantee that the robot can travel across every surface.
Compare the upgrade against a real alternative
The manufacturer lists 20,000 Pa suction, but that alone is not a reason to replace a working vacuum. If the S Pro already fits your floor plan, ask what automatic detachment would change in a typical week. If most of the job is hard-floor mopping, compare Curv 2 Flow's roller approach as a different design choice rather than treating every model as a higher rung on one ladder.
Make room for routine care
Plan where to carry wastewater, store spare bags and dry or replace cleaning parts. Put the dock where you can open and service it, not simply where the robot body fits. An anti-tangle feature can reduce a chore without eliminating inspection. We have not measured carpet pickup, tangles, detachment reliability or dock noise.
How the models differ
Qrevo S Pro lists liftable spinning mops; Qrevo 2 Pro explicitly adds automatic mop detachment in its official feature list. Curv 2 Flow's roller-and-shield design is another approach. Choose around the wet-to-dry transition you need, without assuming interchangeable docks or cleaning parts.
